Summary

CrewNexo helps roofing and siding businesses find each other, message each other and keep a record of the jobs they complete together. Agreements about work are made directly between the businesses involved.

The service

Each company has a profile showing its trades, where it works, its crew size and its availability. Companies can message each other. When two companies complete a job together and both confirm it, the job becomes part of both companies' records.

What CrewNexo does not do

• Contracts: any agreement about a job, its price, schedule or quality is between the two businesses. CrewNexo is not a party to it.
• Payments: CrewNexo does not process payments, hold deposits or collect invoices.
• Disputes: disagreements about a job are resolved between the businesses or through the usual legal channels.
• Verification: CrewNexo does not verify licences, insurance, identity, safety records or quality of work. Profiles are provided by the companies themselves.
• Guarantees: a confirmed job records that two companies both say the job took place. It does not certify the quality of the work or that it was paid for.
• Employment: CrewNexo does not employ, place or manage workers.

Checks before hiring

Carry out the checks you normally would, such as licence, insurance, references and a written agreement. A CrewNexo record can help you find references; it does not replace those checks.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use CrewNexo.

Accounts and companies

You sign in as yourself and use CrewNexo as part of a company. The company owns its profile, confirmed jobs, connections and messages. Your own profile, title and work history belong to you.

A company has owners and members. Owners manage the team and the company profile. When someone leaves or is removed from a company, their access to its messages, team and records ends immediately; the company keeps its history, and their work history keeps a record of it.

Only add a company you are authorised to act for, and only invite people who work with you.

Confirming jobs

By confirming a job, your company states that it did the job with the other company and that the job was completed. Only confirm jobs that took place and were completed.

A job counts only when both companies have confirmed it. After that, one company cannot remove or change it on its own. Within 14 days of the second confirmation, either company can ask to withdraw it; it is withdrawn if the other company agrees, and we keep a private record of it. After 14 days, a confirmed job stays on both records. A job that is not confirmed by both companies does not appear anywhere.

The person who ran the job on your side confirms it. Owners can confirm any of their company's jobs.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your profile and your company's profile accurate.
• Keep your password and sign-in codes to yourself.
• Use messages for genuine work: no spam, bulk messages or unrelated sales.
• Treat other people with respect.
• Do not copy other companies' information out of CrewNexo in bulk or use it for anything other than working with them.

Removal of content and accounts

We may remove content, a person or a company, or suspend access, if someone:

• Confirms jobs that did not take place, or impersonates a business or person.
• Threatens, harasses or abuses anyone, or posts offensive images.
• Sends spam or uses CrewNexo to defraud others.
• Attempts to access other accounts, get around our limits or copy data in bulk.
• Uses CrewNexo for anything unlawful.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write and the photos you add. You allow us to store them and show them to other people on CrewNexo as part of the service. You can change or remove them at any time. Only upload photos and logos you have the right to use.

Pilot service

CrewNexo is free during its pilot. We may add, change or remove features, pause the service or close it. If we close it, we will email you first where we can, and you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you and your company.

We work to keep CrewNexo available and your information secure, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors.

Closing your account

You can stop using CrewNexo at any time. Email hello@crewnexo.com to delete your account. Your profile and photo are deleted. Jobs your company confirmed remain on both companies' records, as they belong to both businesses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any legal dispute between you and us about CrewNexo will be handled by the courts of Wyoming.

Languages

These terms are available in English and Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version applies.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top. We email you about significant changes before they apply.
